My research interests are in commutative algebra. Some of my fairly recent work (such as papers 68, 70, 72, 73, 74 and 75 in my list of publications) has resulted from enthusiasms and ideas generated during the writing (with Markus Brodmann) of the book on 'Local cohomology'. Other fairly recent work (see papers 65, 69 and 77) concerns linear growth of primary decompositions, and connections with tight closure (see paper 77). My most recent work is concerned with use of the Frobenius skew polynomial ring in the theory of tight closure and Frobenius closure: see papers 78, 79, 80, 81, 82 and 83. Preprints are placed on the Commutative Algebra ArXiv after acceptance for publication.
